Wireless multi-flash control is recommended for indoor photography on location, etc. owing to its compactness and ease-of-use.
Just attach the Speedlite 580EX II or the Speedlite Transmitter ST-E2 to the EOS DIGITAL camera as the control master unit. The Speedlite 580EX II or Speedlite 430EX, which are preset as slave units, can be then located anywhere within the range of the wireless control.
All light intensity control is carried out using the master unit. A maximum of three groups of slave units (the A/B group for which flash ratios can be adjusted and the C group that controls light intensity independently) can also be controlled. Produces high-quality photographs with freely controlled lighting even in situations that require swift preparation and do not include complex lighting sets.
* The Speedlite 580EX II can be used as both a master and a slave flash unit. The Speedlite 430EX can only be used as a slave flash unit.
